Update: Reopening Plans
With the recent announcement of Waterloo Region being permitted to enter Phase 3 of the Province’s reopening framework, we are thrilled to have a clearer picture of the guidelines and expectations around reopening the library.
With this new information, we are working hard to fine tune our plan for safely expanding in-person library services in the near future.
While Friday, July 17 marks the transition of our community into Phase 3, the library is not yet ready to begin expanding services at this time.
Even though we can’t wait to welcome our customers back into our spaces, we want to ensure that we are doing so as safely as possible. As always, each decision we make is done so with the health and safety of our staff and customers at the forefront.
We encourage our customers to continue to:
- place holds for library items using Curb and Carry
- access our computers by making reservations
- take advantage of our virtuals programs and services
